HEY HEY HEY!!!!
Whats up everyone, and a HAPPY FATHERS DAY PAPA!!! i hope everything went well for you all this week! Is it starting to get hot up there for you all yet? Its pretty hot down here too, but in about 2 or 3 weeks Los Tuxtlas has its rainy season for about 4 months :) so i will finally get a break from the sun! Down here things went really well! We had an awesome baptism service for Mariana (pedros wife). They are talking about going to the temple in a year! i cant wait to send you photos when we get to go! So my area, Catemaco, is the area most south of the whole mission mexico veracruz, and Catemaco is one of the larger areas. right now we are working in a little town that is about 45 minutes south of the city of Catemaco. This little town is called Hueyapan, and it is in the middle of nowhere haha. The little branch that is there has about 8 members active and they meet in a little house of one of the members every sunday for church. We found a family in Hueyapan last week, their names are Catalina (grandma), Graciela (her daughter), Adolfo and Valeria (her two grandchildren). We have been giving them a few lessons and they accepted to be baptized on the 7th of July! ALL 4 OF THEM!! but if things go well they will be baptized on the 30th of june. We will probably be baptizing them in one of the rivers that is in Hueyapan, because we dont have a font out there. i will let you know how things go :) Hey when you get a chance, tell kenna and their family that i miss them alot too! i will write you next week!

HEY EVERYBODY!!!
Sorry this email is really short, but i wrote chase the letter this week (yes chase you can show mom the letter, there are no secrets this time) JUST KIDDING!! but hey i wanted to thank you mom for the package you sent me!! it was awesome! my companion is completely addicted to the swedish fish! he has never eaten them before! it was great to get to eat some real candy! all the candy down here has chillie powder on it, but im learning to love it! hey so mom i was thinking, i need another missionary journal, i filled my old one up. could you send me another one? but dont spend alot of money on it, just a regular journal. i also need a new belt, my old one wore out. you can go to missionary mall and get one for me for free with this photo :) its time to start using my 2 year guarantee. I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!! Pedros wife Mariana received her answer from god, she knows the church is true! her baptism date is on saturday! Her and Pedro are so strong, last week Pedro rode a bus all the way to Veracruz to do baptisms for the dead, and hes way excited to be sealed in a year there, and Mariana too. well i gotta go, i will write you next week!!

Hey Everyone!!
Hey thanks for those pictures you sent me!! i think chase is getting a little chunky haha! Hey so i´ve got some bad news, i didnt get my packages or letters last week, but i will get them for sure on wednesday! We are heading up to Veracruz for a day to have a mission / zone conferencia and i will get to pick them up there :) Here are some answers to some of your questions,
- My health has been suprisingly really well, the reason it seems like i got sick at home alot is because everytime i got a little bit of a sore throat, i made it seem alot worse then it actually was -haha ;) but the truth is im really a healthy chavo.
- I have been getting used to the weather, its really hot here, lets just say that at night when im sweating my guts out and trying to sleep, i dream about the ice cold showers we have here every morning :)
- Yes we walk everywhere, only missionaries chafas ride bikes ;)
- I dont think there are any places here in Los Tuxtlas that have ruins like Tajin in Poza Rica, but there are so many awesome places to go here!
So Pedros wife has come to church 2 times with us now, she doesnt have a baptism date yet, but we are getting really close with her. tomorrow we are going to set a date with her, probably for the 24th of this month if things go smoothly. This week we had a baptism! We baptized a lady named Nora, shes pretty much the coolest mexicana down here haha well ive gotta go, i will write you next week!
