HEY EVERYBODY!!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! thanksgiving really isnt a holiday in mexico, but we had the luck to have some awesome members of our ward that did an amazing job at cooking us some american food, so we ate mashed potatos and gravy, turkey (they killed one of theirs for us) and some green bean casserole, it was awesome! Im glad you all had a great thanksgiving too, and tell Courtney Hearne congrats on her mision call from me!! There are some Elders here in Veracruz from Costa Rica, they say its great there :)
YOU CANT MOVE TO ST GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats my stand on things haha lets just say that when i fly home, im flying home to the salt lake city airport, not the st george one, so if you want to pick me up, you cant move to st george :)
Well this week for us was really fun and special for me, we had an amazing baptism service on wednesday for a man named Adan that we have been working with for about 2 months, now his whole family has made it to the waters of baptism! This week i also got a call from the mission president on friday for the transfers that we will have this week, he told me that i am being made district leader in Tuxtepec and my companion  I will be getting will be new, i will be training as well. i also completed 13 months today, the half way point for me in the mission field, i feel so old haha well i gotta go, i will write you next week!!

So last week when i got those pictures from you, i was pretty excited to see riley behind karly when she was building a snowman, i thought mom would have killed or sold him by now haha you have to keep him until i get back so we can see if he remembers me or not.
Matt was in Mexico City when that earthquake hit!! thats awesome! next time he comes down here tell him to come down to Tuxtepec haha its only like 8 hours from there.
So im not sure if im going to be able to skype you for christmas, but i will try to find a member that has it, im not really a hot chili pepper fanatic, but i´ve grown to love it, i feel like my spanish is getting better, i can speak it fine, i just need to keep learning more vocabulary so that i sound more mexican haha
Well this week turned out really great for me :) we helped a couple get married and then we baptized her on sunday, they are planing on going to the temple in a year to get sealed. I told them they have to do in in 11 months so that i can go with them before i go home haha

HEY FAMILY ITS ME AGAIN!!!!
I hope you all aren't sick of hearing from me yet haha these weeks are flying by so fast that i feel like i wrote you yesterday! Thanks for the pictures that you sent me! my companion thinks its awesome how much it snows up there in Utah. Its cool to look at pictures of my old house all snowy, while im sitting in a little public computer room in the middle of central Tuxtepec with no air conditioning putting a fan on high blowing right in my face because its so wickedly hot here in November haha! Well im glad to hear that mom had a good birthday! that's great that Grandma Grandpa Q and Drew got to go down to see mom! And make sure to tell brady and trevor that im way happy for them that they will be headed off on the mission soon!!!
Well this week went by really fast for me but it turned out great :) I got a letter from my son (the elder i was training that went home, elder jimenez from the dominican republic) He told me that he has been talking with the mission president and will probably be able to come back on the mission in less then 6 months!! This week we also found more people to teach that will be getting baptized soon :)) we have been blessed a ton out here with the new people we are finding! The mission president has told us to not contact of knock doors as much anymore, but to put all of our time working with the few members in the ward asking for and contacting as many references as we can, and we are having alot more success this way. we also had the treat of going to the burger king this week!! i haven't done that in a while haha! So i bet you all heard about the big earthquake that happened in Guatemala last week, well we felt it haha we were helping one of our investigators out helping him construct a part of his house and then i started to get all dizzy and felt a little wierd for about 10 or 15 seconds, my companion felt the same and told me that he thought it was a big bus passing by or something, but then we heard from some members that the earthquake happened at that same time!! well i hope you all know that im doing well, and i miss you all, i will write you next week!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!
I think its great that your birthday this year fell on a monday so that i can write you on your birthday!!! :) so you're 42 huh, dont wory about it, because everytime i show the pictures of our family to anyone out here, they all think you're my older sister or something because you look so young! and im just saying that, because everytime i show those pictures to anyone, they all tell me how cute my little sisters are, and then how pretty you are haha Well i would like to let you know that i miss you alot mom, i know we haven't really been able to communicate that much over this past year, which is completely my fault, but i want you to know that i love you alot. In the year i have been out here i've learned alot of things, and one of them has been how easy i had it growing up with a mom that did everything, and now that I'm not living there anymore, i have realized how much you really had been doing for me, and i know it's impossible for me to thank you enough for that. I think about all of you every day and pray for you as well. Thanks for everything you have done and everything you are doing for me. I love you tons and i hope you have a great birthday :)
     love your coolest son, Jonny
