HEY MOM!!!
Hey whats up hows it going! ok so this week we have a half hour to write, so i dont have a lot of time to write, but tell chase and dad that im sorry i wont be writing them this week, because mom's cooler haha!
    1. I GOT THE PACKAGE!!!! :) i think i got it so early this time because of the split of the mission! When i got these birthday presents, i told myself that i wasnt going to open them until sep 27 . . . but i couldnt help myself :) thanks for the clothes and the watch! my companion says he wants more of those LED balloons, we had a blast with those haha!
    2. with the $1300 pesos i bought a new memory for my camera and a new usb stick for more pictures. With the extra $500 pesos that ive got im just keeping it in my house just in case we have like an emergency
    3. Valentin was baptized on Friday, it was one of the happiest moments of my mission i've had so far. Me and my companion both baptized him, because he can barely stand up, let alone walk! but this week i cant send you pictures of his baptism :( becuase the computer im on right now is pretty beat up (the computers in this part of mexico are alot different than the computers in the united states haha)
Everything has been going great for me down here! i'm healthy again, and i will never eat at that taco stand ever again haha! we have changes in about a week so we will find out on friday which one of us will be sent to a different part of Veracruz, i will let you know next monday. i love you a ton mom thanks for the package and all your support, i will pray for you this week while you're in washington if you pray for these people here in mexico deal? :) and also tell chase and dad that i couldnt open their pictures on this lame computer, so if you send me pictures, i need you to send them one at a time in different emails or else i cant open them, but thanks for trying haha i will write you next week, Adios!

HEY ITS ME AGAIN!!!
I hope you all dont get sick of hearing from me every week, because im going to write you whether you like it or not haha! Hey whats happening up there in Utah! i´ve been hearing about some pretty crazy wild fires, are there any close to you all? we dont have that problem here in Catemaco :) because everything is always wet! So i wont lie, this week was pretty tough for me out here, i got pretty sick for the first time in the mission field. Me and my companion finalized our baptism on thursday for a little girl that got baptized on saturday, and we're pretty happy about it, so we treated ourselves to some good looking tacos in a place where we had never eaten before. . . . horrible mistake! HORRIBLE!!!! Lets just say i slept on the toilet for 2 nights and was running to the bathroom every 15 minutes during the day, no joke. For the baptism on saturday i was still sick, I wasnt thinking very straight, so i forgot my white tie. (that's why i look goofy in the picture). But everything's alright now :) i feel great, but we will never be eating out at that taco stand ever again. So on a brighter note, that little girl we baptized on saturday is named Judith. She is a 10 year old girl that we found off of a reference from some inactive / new members that moved to Catemaco from Chihuahua about 6 months ago. It was really fun teaching her and reactivating her family, because she is like a mexicana version of Katie bug. It was pretty cool for me to imagine that i was teaching Kate, it made everything more special and spiritual for me. This week, we are going to baptize that old man i wrote you about 2 weeks ago. His name is Valentine, his conversion and the experiences we are having with this 78 year old man with cancer is becoming one of the most spiritual experiences i have had on the mission. But i will tell you all about it next week after we baptize him :) we will be baptizing him on Friday, it would help alot if you could all pray for him and his health this week so that things will go smoothly for his baptism. Well i gotta go, see you next week!

Hey everybody!
Hey whats up in Utah! Hows everything been going at home? This week for me has been pretty awesome! I think you all probably heard about the hurricane that almost passed over Catemaco last week, well i want you all to know that i didnt die haha! On wednesday night we got a call from the mission president saying that we needed to go buy some extra food and water, and get into our house because a hurricane was headed our way. i honestly was pretty excited haha! because i have never been through anything like that before. On thursday at about 1 in the morning it rained harder than i have ever seen in my life, and when we woke up at 6:30, we found out that our house flooded. After that i wasnt very excited anymore haha! All day thursday it rained pretty hard, but there wasnt any serious damage, a few trees fell down and a few houses flooded, but nothing really bad happened. But in Hueyapan anyhow, those rivers were on the verge of flooding the city, and almost everyone packed up what they could, as fast as they could, and left for higher ground. But luckily the rivers didnt flood, so we spent most of our day on friday helping people put stuff back into their houses haha.
Another exciting thing that happened in mexico this week was that WE BEAT BRAZIL IN SOCCER!!!! on saturday morning, every tv we passed, on every radio, in every taxi, that game was being played and replayed over and over again. and when they won, the whole city went flippin nuts!
My companion and i also had a baptism this week! her name is Mariana. Last monday i wrote to you a little about her, well she got baptized on saturday. we will also be having another baptism this week on friday! but i will tell you about it next monday when i have more time to write.

HEY HEY HEY FROM CATEMACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whats up fam! Hows the dry heat up there in Utah? Some new missionaries got here last week strait from the MTC and say that its pretty flippin hot there right now. Well i hope things went well this week, JESSICA JONES IS GETTING MARRIED TOO!!! thats awesome! Give her a hug and congrats from her coolest cousin haha! Well this week was pretty good here, its kinda annoying when it rains though, because i feel like it just gets hotter, its the wierdest thing haha. Our baptism that we had planned last week fell through, but she will be getting baptized this week on the 11th so its all good :) we will be baptizing a 25 year old lady named Mariana. We found her about 2 weeks ago in a little town on the outskirts of Catemaco. Elder Ramírez and i were walking in the street going to an appointment when a 40 year old lady contacted us randomly. She asked if we were mormon missionaries, when we told her we were she said "oh how great, well im not mormon im baptist, but my daughter moved here from Acayucan (a big city south of Hueyapan, its in a different mission) about a week ago and has been looking for you" So we wrote down her address and passed by her house the next day. Mariana had been taking the missionary lessons in Acayucan before she moved, went to church like 5 times, and almost got baptized, But she had a really big problem with her husband and moved to Catemaco with her 2 year old son over night. Our first visit with her, she asked us if we could still baptize her, and we were like CLARO QUE SI!!!!!!! so she will be getting baptized on Saturday. Alright well i gotta go, i will write you next week! and mom thank you so much for sending me another package! i will tell you right when i get it! Adios!!
